Cascade Natural Gas Files Request to Raise Customer Rates UG 305



On December 12, 2016, Order No. 16-477 was signed by the Commissioners adopting a stipluation that approved a rate increase of 1.05 percent or $700,000 annually.

On April 29, 2016, Cascade Natural Gas filed a request with the Oregon Public Utility Commission to raise customer rates by 2.76 percent or $1.9 million annually.  The main driver according to the company’s filing is increased investment in natural gas facilities.
The proposed rate change will vary depending on customer class:
·          Residential 3.05 percent
·          Commercial 1.53 percent
·          Industrial 7.09 percent
Cascade Natural Gas serves approximately 68,000 customers in 25 Oregon Communities in central Oregon.
