Telecommunication Devices Access Program Advisory Committee

The Telecommunication Devices Access Program (TDAP) Advisory Committee, made up of seven (7) members, advises the Public Utility Commission regarding the development, implementation, and administration of its telephone assistance programs. The committee is made up of the following:

  • Three members who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing,
  • One member who has a speech disability or other disability,
  • One member who is low vision, blind, or DeafBlind,
  • One professional in the field of speech disability, low vision/blindness, hearing loss or deafness or disability, and
  • One telecommunications representative.
We are seeking representation from the Deaf or Hard of Hearing community, as well as someone with a speech or other disability.  If you are interested in participating, please send the following to Jon Cray who can be contacted at 503-373-1400 or by email at jon.cray@state.or.us

The advisory committee meetings are open to the public.  Meetings are held twice a year on the second or third Friday in March and September from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Hearing Room at the Public Utility Commission's office, 201 High Street SE, Suite 100. 

The meeting location is accessible to individuals with disabilities. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters and real-time captioning are available at all meetings.
