Fraudulent Calls About Your PGE Bill
Some PGE customers are reporting fraudulent calls from scammers attempting to collect a payment. The scammer pretends to be from PGE and threatens immediate disconnection unless they’re paid with a debit or credit card – usually with a pre-paid debit or credit card purchased from a local retailer.
What should I do if I receive a call?
Hang up and call PGE at 800-542-8818. PGE uses an automated computer for payment reminder calls –never a person.
