Northwest Natural filed its application with the Commission Nov. 28, 2001.
Under Oregon law, the OPUC must grant authorization before a company may exercise any substantial influence over the policies and actions of a public utility, and the Commission must grant the authorization if it finds that the proposed transaction will serve the utility’s customers in the public interest.
