Oregon Commission to Attend Climate Change Workshop

WHAT: An important workshop uniting three West Coast Public Utility Commissions, energy experts and international leaders, to explore goals, key technologies, and best practices in energy efficiency. The event will begin with a Special Signing Ceremony, in which the three West Coast Commissions sign a Joint Action Framework on Climate Change.
WHO: Commissioners from the California Public Utilities Commission, the Washington Utility and Transportation Commission, the Oregon Public Utility Commission, and key Commission staff members. Plus industry leaders on energy efficiency will provide expert presentations, including: Paul Baudry, Electricité de France; Mark Levine, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory; Margie Gardner, Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance; Charlie Grist, Northwest Power and Conservation Council; and more. 
WHY: To advance energy efficiency as a tool to lower energy costs, promote economic growth and take action on climate change.
