Commission to Host 2nd Annual Taste of Technology Conference

Salem, OR –The Oregon Public Utility Commission and Sprint are hosting the second annual Taste of Technology Conference in Salem April 27, 2007 at the Salem Conference Center.
Topics include the Commission’s Telephone Devices Access Program (TDAP) and
Oregon Telephone Assistance Program (OTAP), speech-generating devices, emergency preparedness and Cochlear Implants.
"The Taste of Technology sponsored by Sprint and the Oregon Public Utility Commission's Telecommunications Relay Service is an exciting opportunity to learn and discuss current and available telecommunications technology for those with disabilities in today's rapidly evolving market," Residential Service Protection Fund Manager Jon Cray said.   “Members with various disabilities, professionals and vendors working with these populations will be able to convene, learn, and discuss the advantages and challenges of today's telecommunications technology."
