Salem, Oregon-- We want you to tap into your creative side. The Oregon Public Utility Commission is seeking entries for a new logo to symbolize the Oregon Telecommunications Relay Service. The relay uses operators to assist telephone calls between deaf, hard of hearing, and speech disabled individuals and their hearing counterparts and vice versa.  The logo will be used on a variety of documents, brochures, forms, letterhead, apparel, buttons and website for the 18 year-old program.
Who can enter?
New logo contest is open to deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened, speech disabled or deaf-blind individuals.  Students, professional or amateur artists, and graphic designers may participate as long as they represent the deaf/hard of hearing or speech disabled population.  The draft logo design does not have to be professionally produced as the winning selection may be polished by a professional firm chosen by the State of Oregon and Sprint.  The designer does not have to be a resident of Oregon.
