Commission Seeks Public Input on Avista Natural Gas Rate Hike Request with Simultaneous Hearings in southern Oregon

Salem, OR. The Oregon Public Utility Commission will use videoconferencing to hold two simultaneous public meetings in White City and Grants Pass to receive comments regarding Avista Utilities request for an increase in customer rates.  
The Commissioners will participate from a meeting room in Salem with video access to each of the sites.

Administrative Law Judge Patrick Power will preside in White City over the meeting.  Also appearing in White City will be representatives of Avista and Commission Staff. 
After persons appearing in White City have spoken, the Commissioners will listen to comments from members of the public in Grants Pass.  A representative of the Commission will also be on hand to assist.
